That's something I really REALLY don't get. Why people eat tacos with a knife and a fork?!?!? That actually is something absolutely WEIRD!

Listen to an original Italian lady. Pizza must be eaten with hands and fingers, not with fork and knife

I usually fold the pizza like a kebab and then eat it from my hands...

it's not odd. I know plently of people that do it, but I do think it is funny.

I know a guy who does that and that's weird.

If eating pizza with a fork is weird, then I'm weird. I always start out with a knife and fork until I get the feel for the consistency of the pizza. If it's loaded down with toppings and is too hot to handle and I'm too impatient to wait...if it has a substantial crust/dough element to it I'll go for the knife/fork method

If it can be held without too much mess then I'll do it that way. Even better if it's a nice New York style pizza...a big old slice with a thin, flexible crust that you can fold in half. There wouldn't be enough pizza per bite to warrant any cutlery.

My great-great grandpa used to make an awesome Sicilian style pizza. Lots of crust, lots of toppings, if you weren't watching you might find a raisin or two in there...(Not really, that was the lasagna. He liked to experiment. I vividly remember the surprise raisins in the meatballs.) Anyway...I wish somebody had the recipe. I've never tasted anything like it since. :(

The point is, there are many kinds of pizza so it depends. I had to eat a burrito with a fork the other day because they just put way too much chicken inside it and it was too heavy to hold without falling apart. Circumstances vary. ;)

And Square cut pizzas need love too. It's not their fault. ;)
