It's not a phrase really, but people who use double negatives.
'I aint got no money'
You're loaded then? It's basic maths ffs. |

Well at the end of the day, there has to be more to life than this.
But what really gets on my nipple ends is management speak...
Blue Sky Thinking, Ballpark Figures, Thinking Outside the Box, Proactive Solutions.

What, when they are talking? Haha I've not heard anyone say that!
Me either- but it's probably as bad as them saying "Lawl" instead of actually laughing!
oh yes. i know someone that literally SAYS "lol" and keeps a straight face. at least chuckle, gimme something resembling an actual laugh! |

I think Fran pulls it off pretty well in "Big Chair."
Well you know that I heart everything about you...

'I like stuff'
'I'm the most amazing person you'll ever meet'
and all those other typical sayings little kids put on their page thinking they sound unique, while every other person has it..
Omgz is really annoying as well and anything with I <3 or I </3 |

Thinking of an old thread:
-"That's just such a random thing to say."
> No it's not, I said it on purpose. I didn't toss a feckin' coin on it.
-"Can I ask you a question?"
> No. You've already insulted me by asking that question.
-"Can I just say...?"
> Say what you like, I won't be listening anyway.
-(In French) "Can you lend me..., S.T.P.?" (instead of saying "S'il te plaƮt")
> No. Serves you right for talking like a Post-it.
-"You know?" (at the end, or even start, of every sentence)
> If I know, why are you telling me?

Its just that it is said usually in a way that is insincere and makes it meaningless , without true feeling.
Bye , goodbye , see you soon, have a safe journey, bfn are all more sincere to me ...If I was going to say Take Care , it would be because someone was off to climb Everest ( or drive to Sherwood Forrest tomoz in all the rain haha - Get my drift? :-) |

what annoys me is people who use the word "like" several times in a sentence.
"It's like cool like, and like really fabulous! Oh and like that guy like, he was like hot like" Brrrr... |
