Yeah, just to recap, I didn't mean people for whom English is not their 1st language, as I know that from an outsiders prespective, some English must look baffling because of the multiple meanings of some words. However, people who have been taught English as a first language have no excuse.

Yep. Both my sister and my father are pretty wretched spellers. I doubt they even care. I weep for the English language on a daily basis. ;)

Okay, I hate hate hate it that people with money get everything and I hate it that I FINALLY got my dream-internship in Scotland and had to decline the offer because they pay nothing and it's too late to apply for grants/scholarships and stuff. And I hate it that someone else will get my position now. MINE. (yes, I'm an only child)...
poor me. yeah.
