i don't know, i think i hear an acoustic radiohead (the bends) influence in his songs. the vocals are kind of thom york with the fluctuation if falsetto here and there. |

he's got that jeff buckley type warble going on too. the cover of the ELO is definitely a keeper. the other songs, the originals, are a bit too overwrought for me when they get all "okay, now loud guitary", but "Losing Me" is a grower i think. but - having said all this, as an opening act this guy is leaps and bounds ahead of the other bands i've seen open for travis i'll probably give him a chance on the day. |
