Well I live in Denmark and the prices vary. I have a full membership which means that I can take as many classes as I like and be there as much as I like. Then they have memberships where you can come five times per month, ie. about once a week. The full membership costs me about £35 per month, but I know that there are cheaper places. It all depends on quality, I suppose.
When I lived in Glasgow, I used to go to a fitness centre wihtout any classes and I wasn't a member. It cost me about £3,50 per time. I only had time to go at the weekend anyway.
I prefer classes though cos I get more done when an instructor is shouting ;o)
Where in the UK will you be staying? |

Yep, when I got back to Aarhus, they had these step classes at the very small fitness room at uni. I liked it and I continued it here. The instructor asked people from the advanced class cos we're gonna do some basic stuff and then some more advanced stuff to sort of show the various levels.
I like step as much as I dislike spinning. In spinning classes you just sit on a bike for an hour, but in step, you get different series every time. It's the same steps, mostly, but in different variations. Basically, you have to make your two brainhalfs cooperate lol |

| yes I remember that too. Was really annoying. I think there was a period where they got cancelled more often that not *sigh*. They'd just send an email and I didn't have an internet connection at home, so I had to go to the uni to find out whether it was on. Now at least they call or text you :o) |
