Almost 2 years ago I was flying back from London (to Houston) and I had requested the diabetic meal not because I'm diabetic but a friend had told me they are better- healthier, fresher, etc.
I was quite lucky to have a whole row to myself, which was great because I had been up the entire night before drinking, living it up. I was happily asleep when they woke me up to serve the meal. The kindly flight attendant was all, "I'm sorry to disturb you but I know you're a diabetic and we were concerned you might go into a coma if you don't eat so here is your meal"
I was much too embarrassed to admit that I am just a picky eater sleeping off a bender so I just said "thank you" and ate my food.

That really good service. To bad you missed those last minutes/hours of sleep:)

I know. It was very considerate. That's what made it all the more horrible knowing I was a drunken fraud.
