No pranks. He just wanted to take a break from the board to focus on other things. It's really as simple as that. Just a realignment of his priorities in life. No drama or anything - he didn't even tell me about it until after he took down his myspace page.
Glad there's no drama. Seems weird though that he didn't just say that. And I am bummed because I wanted to hear his review of the show. So how was it?
Yeah - I think the reason he didn't say anything in the first place was because he didn't want to create any drama, but it seems that his strategy has had the opposite effect (i.e., people thinking that it's some sort of prank or hoax). Oh well! Guess there would have been drama either way.
The show was fabulous, and we both had a great time. Ironically, I think it was the show that prompted him to make his decision about the messageboard. It was a nice bookend to this chapter in his life.
