However I guess without the money and fame raised from All- Bran & Co.'s antics they would have been able to express and explore all the other avenues, the most famous of course being... Gorillaz. I remember Oasis and Blur going head to head with two singles a battle which Blur won but Noel later commented that Blur may have won the battle but Oasis would win the war. I thought so to at the time, however these days I'm not so sure...

P.s.(It's the Scottish Motto, it translates as:- No One Wounds me with Impunity, or in Scots:- Wha daur meddle wi me? or in more layman terms Nobody Fucks with me and gets away with it!)
Well Dubz, I never understood why Blur and Oasis were/are compared to each other. Never see a significant similarity between them apart from being well ..Brit and coming out in 90s. But if we are to discuss who "won" the war, I am with Noel. Still I don't know, what is it to discuss! It's got to be "music" which is not that similar between those bands. Anyway, Blur totally changed thier style with Think Tank. Coxon's departure caused loss of blood even though Think Tank is a good album from different perspectives. And Damon went on another route with Gorillaz afterwards (btw, I seriously don't like Gorillaz project! Can't take more than two songs at one listen!).. Eventually, he is now playing with some cool names of Rock'n Roll world although keeping it less rock'n roll. Yes, he is successfull all the way. He is very very talented. He is like a music-machine of diveersity of genres! But as being Blur, they lost the "war". Oasis are still Oasis doing their own stuff for ages. They are way more widely known than Blur. And this is the point considering their "war" was nothing more than a commercial fight, international-fame-piss-race.
