wow - three whole loads in one day?! That's very impressive! I can only do one load a day as I have nowhere to dry anything and it stays damp and smelly.
Right, I think it's time we moved on from laundry........any other exciting topic suggestions?!
Just to follow up on that: I share a washing machine with 4-5 other flats, and every time I've had time to wash for about 10 days, it's been busy. Plus it's quite expensive - I pay approx. £2 for 2 hours and 25 minutes. In that time, I can do two loads of the stuff that doesn't need a lot of washing or one load that needs more. So I've both kinds today in order to get rid of my huge pile of laundry.
Right, no more laundry. Is there anything interesting on the telly? A German movie is running in the background here, but it's really nothing to write home about. |

Urgh, that sounds like a bit of a nightmare! I used to have the same problem at uni, and if you didn't sit and wait for the washing machine to finish doing your stuff you'd get back to find all your wet laundry heaped on the floor, with your scummiest knickers at the top of the pile for everyone to see. Grrrr. |

What is it that your cousin hates about Yeovil? Actually, that is a slightly dumb question as Yeovil doesn't have much going for it, but is it the people or the place? |

I've got so much on my plate at the moment that I will have to get some work done tonight, Saturday night or not...
argh no, sounds horrid. Good luck with it!
Thanks, I really want / need to get as much done as possible before I leave to see Travis in Madrid! It's bad enough that I'll have to leave on the very day lessons start again at uni!! |

When I was at uni, laundry was much easier. I lived in a one-room flat with a small kitchen and bathroom, and there were 4 buildings with about 150 people. We had 4 washing machines and two dryers, and they were in this really nice shed, not a basement. Plus there were baskets so that you could empty a machine without throwing it anywhere. And it was much cheaper.
Oh I can't believe I'm spending my Saturday night doing laundry AND discussing it LOL |

Cold. The clothes weren't really dirty and it's more carbon neutral and all that. The towels tomorrow are going to get the warm treatment though. |

Lol. I hated doing laundry in the dorms. You had to literally guard the machine or someone would steal articles of clothing. And there was always random socks and undergarments laying around that no one would claim. |
