Oh yes, you should be disturbed. I've some nice scars- paper can be vicious. you wouldn't guess by looking at it, but paper is in fact evil. |

when i was about 16 and had a football trial with an amateur team, it was on a Tuesday night so on the Sunday i didn't play for my youth league team just in case i got injured. instead i went to a driving range where i accidentally stood on a golf ball fell over and damaged tissue in my right ankle. i spent 5hours in hospital waiting on an x-ray and was off school for a good while |

That can only end in heartache...At least that's what the movie City of Angels tells us.
As for me, I broke a tooth on a hair band. The kind with the two balls on either end of an Elastic band. The Dentist Glued the tip back on and that lasted for a couple years, now it's has a cap on it.
that had to hurt |

Ok, I read the thread :)
This past year when I played the Tuba in marching band, i had to disemble it each day after practice. In marching band you march a Sousaphone which is the Tuba that wraps around your body.

One day I was having trouble with taking the mouthpiece out because it was lodged into the extention bit. I gave it a really good yank and it came out with so much force that I banged the mouthpiece into my mouth (I was still wearing the Tuba) and I split my lip. |

I've been in band since 5th grade, but before I played the flute/piccolo, and then I switched to Tuba senior year because we needed more Tubas, and I was tired of playing the flute. I wanted to try something different. |

Not really. It was just sensitive with the air hitting the exposed nerves. I got it fixed really quickly, but I don't really bite into hard things with my bottom teeth anymore.
Breaking my ankle playing softball...THAT hurt, but it wasn't that strange of an injury so I didn't mention it. :) |
