Ric's recipe is for an army of ppl...and it's quite time consuming.
I wanted something quick and easy. (no pun intended)
The boss's recipe is also pretty time consuming I think. You could look around online. I usually get ground turkey, onions, a can of tomatoes meant for chili, and a can of beans that has all the chili seasonings. It's so easy and takes about 20 minutes. Of course I have no idea if you could find anything like that in grand ol' Paris. It's not award winning flavor but it's a good solid dinner. I usually make some cornbread, nice salad, some green beans, sour cream and cheese for the chili....
Now I'm craving chili. Damn you!
as we say here "miam miam" (well, it's kiddie talk but loads of adults also say it when it sounds delicious)
You say "miam miam" and we say "yummy yummy." Sounds like the same thing when you say it several times. (Yes, word nerd again.) |

Is it just me, or does it sound like the audience stopped paying attention to the, err, music and started talking instead?
My first thought about this: WTF? And then: this must be the strangest guitar solo ever.
At least Ozzy and the guitar molester seemed to enjoy it. |

Guitar molester, that's great.
I couldn't tell from your post whether or not you realized it was a joke video and that's not at all what his solo sounded like. Did you or did you just think it was the worst thing you ever heard? |

I was dead serious about the 'worst thing I ever heard' bit. And yeah, I did have an idea that no one could be serious about this lol |

Yeah it's pretty painful to listen to...but so funny. It's impressive the work that guy put into making it sound real.

Yes, you must admire his effort to, err, go low when the guy on the air guitar does. Of course it would be even better if it were in time with Ozzy's clapping...
And as to the people talking in the background; I assume it's just white noise, but if you listen carefully, it sounds like a disinterested audience lol |

The disinterested audience is probably on purpose. My friend pointed out that when Ozzy grabs the guys hair there is a neck cracking sound. So hilarious! |

actually chili is time consuming and better the next day , Here's an interesting one
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
6 pounds uncooked stew meat
2 pounds pork breakfast sausage with sage
2 large white onions chopped fine
1 can beef stock
2 small cans chipotle peppers in adobe sauce chopped fine
2 squares bittersweet chocolate
14 ounces canned salsa verde
24 ounces bottled dark beer
1 ounce top shelf tequila
2 limes juiced
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons freshly ground black pepper
3 tablespoons liquid smoke
6 tablespoons chili powder
6 tablespoons ground cumin
1 bunch green onions sliced
2 cups 4 blend cheese
Directions
Heat olive oil in large cast iron pot on high heat.
Add beef and cook until browned stirring occasionally.
When browned remove from pot and set aside then drain well.
Brown sausage and chopped onions until sausage is browned then drain well.
Return beef to pot along with remaining ingredients then stir well.
Cover and simmer on medium heat for 4 hours stirring occasionally.
Serve in bowls with cheese and green onions as garnish.
