I guess I didn't realize they had that many top hits to fill a record. I know they were bigger in the UK but wow!
I still think they're crap and their music shouldn't have charted so high.
Though they did inspire a dare that fell quite flat. When I was in London (about 2 years ago) I went to order a drink and I said, "I'll tell you what I want, what I really really want, I really really really wanna zig-a-zig-AH!"
The bar keep just gave me the blankest stare that made me want to crawl in a mouse hole and die. I mumbled my order and scuttled off. |

Oh dear.
That's the time I'm always on the bus and the radio's always on. This could be bad.

A greatest hits album seems a bit of a cop out. They're just flogging some old songs to get more money really, aren't they?
At least Take That are Back For Good ;) |

And I can name quite a few choons. Probably just a case of where you were at the time?
And I was in London being about 8, so I knew them a bit too well haha.
I probably knew them a lot more than I should've too. Although a lot of it came down to my fancying Emma Bunton. xD
But hey, all of my primary school class was into them, they were iconic of our generation.
I still think 2 Become 1 is a good little pop tune though. *hides* |

I'll join the club, I was a Spice Girls fan. I'll even admit to owning Spice World: The Movie, AND seeing it in theatres when it came out... I was about 9 at the time. Compared to the pop acts today, I'd take the Spice Girls anytime.
And Typing you're right, 2 become 1 was awesome, as was Stop
*mumbles* Stop right now, thank you very much. I need somebody with a human touch... |
