Thank you, professor. Wow! Tres cher! I'm surprised there isn't a Levi smuggling business going on. I guess if I've thought of it, there probably is.
No problem mon amie !
How much is a pair of Levi's where you live ?
Depends on what style you get, but my husband wears 505's and they're about $30. Levi's jeans are not really a big deal here. They're just your normal everyday jeans that every guy wears. I'd be afraid to wear a pair of jeans that cost over $100! I'm surprised there aren't pants muggings! "Keep your wallet, it's your Levi's we're after. Be quiet and no one will get hurt!"

Yes, just a higher cost of living in general. We ended up nearly running out of money the first time we visited France. (Student days.) We quickly discovered we could not afford to eat at restaurants and ended up finding a grocery store and making sandwiches. Our French cuisine experience: Ham sandwiches, bananas, and orange juice. Good memories, though. |

My old bf (american) offered his friends to pay for gas when they travelled by car in the french countryside - he had no idea of a gallon's price !
When i went to see him in NYC, i noticed the prices were cheaper in cafés and restaurants. The portions were bigger too !
I LOVE going to diners. Yummy ! |
