AH! I love SHR! One time I brought the DVD into my Junior Communication Arts (English) class. I cannot tell you how many times I've started Conjunction Junction, waited for someone to finish it, and been met with disappointment...

Let's see if someone can get it this time:

Conjunction Junction, what's your function?
...

I'm also an "Interjections" fan. I tend to gravitate more towards grammar rock.

LOVE!! Yes!!! We have the DVD too!
Okay...Hookin' up words and phrases and clauses.
Interjections! Show excitement! Or emotion! An interjection's generally set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point, or by a comma when the feelings not as strong. So when you're happy...take it Lauren!

I haven't tried that particular combination. I usually eat it on toast or crackers, or on pork chops.

Hooray!
Or Sad! (Awwww!)
Or Frightened! (Eeek!)
Or Mad! (Rats!)
Or Excited! (WOW!)
Or Glad! (Hey!)
An interjection starts a sentence right...

I also love the history ones. We had to memorize the Preamble in school and I already knew it. I just had to sing it to myself as I wrote.

How'd you get interested in Schoolhouse Rock? I know you weren't around when it was on.

They showed it Saturday mornings in the 90's on ABC, they'd show like, one episode before Recess (the cartoon).

Ahem: I'm just a Bill, yes I'm only a Bill and I've been sitting here on Capitol Hill.
Well it's a long long wait 'til the capitol city.
It's a long long wait while I'm sitting in committee.
And I hope one day I'll beeeeee a law, yes I hope and pray that I will.
But today I am still just a bill.

Down, down, down, down, gravityyyyyy...People aren't going to want to car pool with us at the ABC if we keep this up.

Gettin' late. I'm off. Maybe I should have a hot chocolate first, to get the goat cheese fig combo out of my mind. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined such a combination. Abs, you are very creative.
