GETTTTTTTTTT INNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have no voice, and have woken all of my neighbours!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D

I made the scariest prediction though! Last night i dreamt i was playing Fifa on the PS3 and i scored playing Ronaldo and then Frank Lampard was the only other player that appeared in the dream and that was after Ronaldo had scored but in the end we won!! And as the penalites were being taken i said that Van Der Saar would save the last penalty of the night and win it.....i scare myself sometimes!!!

This meant so much to the club, 50 years since Munich, 40 years since we first won it. In 99 it would have been Sir Matt's 90th birthday...obviously anniversaries mean a lot to us :D

Everyone's going to be ill tomorrow ha ha!!

UNITED KINGS OF EUROPE!!

Ronaldo though, ultimately choked again? Messi wouldn't have missed that penalty. Still gave it the big'un in the post-match interview, despite being let off the hook BIG TIME.

A little humility would go a long way with that lad.

'I played well in my opinion'..... Against a right back who's actually a midfielder and gave you a free header. Lol. There isn't one time when I've watched him and thought I've been watching GREATNESS, not like the feeling you get when Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Henry, Zidane and all were at their best. He's not even on the same page as any of them yet.

Edit :- Like Monkey said, I was chuffed for Giggs. The rest of 'em I'm not fussed on, Darren Fletcher a champions league winner? Fucking stroll on.

Yep Ryan deserves it. Always loved Ryan and he's local (well for most of his life) and has been united through and through. And he broke Sir Bobby's record too...nice one Giggsy :D

Did Darren Flectcher play? NO then leave him alone!

I think John Terry choked more than Ronaldo did! Ronaldo's penalty was saved, Terry completely missed! I may be biased because i'm a united fan but you obviously miss the skill that Ronaldo quite obviously posesses! He is a wow factor but he also regards the team. He said after the match that the team did more...and he's only young, he has far much more to show yet!

Brilliant match. It had absolutel everything you could hope for in a major European final. Either team could have shaded it, based on either half. chelsea probably on the balance of extra time. but nice to see Utd win it.

What was with Ronaldo's collapse after the final penalty? Purely attention seeking to get the camera's back on him. same at the trophy presentation, he stood next to Bobby Charlton and gurned for the camera a few times. And fletcher - what the fuck was he even doing near that trophy!? haha - he played no part. Same with John O'Shea! Fuck off with your tracksuit on and stand at the side. Never saw Gary Neville floating about eh.

I think Ronaldo was just overcome. He'd missed the penalty and thought he'd let the team down and all of the energy had gone from him. He's so young as well and he's just won a European cup final so all sorts will have been going through his mind! Pensonaly i don't like Fletcher or John O'Shite all that much but they were prob just caught up in everything. Neville should have been featured a bit more, he is still club captain after all!

Yeah but the thing is, no-one runs around saying John Terry's the BEST PLAYER ON THE PLANET. I haven't said that he hasn't got skill, just that he is nowhere near being a great, so it's a little extreme that you think I'm 'obviously missing the skill he posesses'.

Of course the team did more, for starters all the other penalty takers did significantly more, I don't think that a player saying that should necessarily be awarded a million modesty points, it's common sense. Any modesty points are instantly wiped out by that stupid collapse at the end, really classless. Would you see Giggs or Scholes do that?

No chance.

What's Fletcher playing got to do with anything as well? Strange.

I'm not saying that Ronaldo is a great but they way you were talking about him made it sound like he was below average when he clearly isn't. Not everyone goes around saying that he is the best player on the planet but awards do say something about his talent. You get loads of reporters chatting on about Terry and Lampard and i don't think they're fantastic.

I wasn't saying he said that for "modesty points" what a stupid thing to say! My point was that he isn't just out for himself most of the time, he was very much about the team after not just chatting on about what a great game he had which you said. Once again, he is a young player and whose to judge what he does at the end of a match, it might have meant so much to him that that's just what he did. Bloody hell are we at a stage at jumping on a player that's just won a cup who obviously aggrivates you just because he lay on the floor! At his age Giggs might have done that but whose to know!
