Im doing ok. Been busy with Caspers Confirmation. My sister, her husband and son were over for a week. Then Casper n Megan got throat infections. So been kept on my toes. Theyve a day off today so just arsing around.

heheh some threads are disappearing still ! lol .. and coming back again.
I miss the old board though, it felt much more open, you could see the threads and it was much easier to join in the middle somewhere...... *sigh* maybe I'm getting too old for change ;-P
I havent noticed any disappearing threads but I have seen some replies in the wrong places :0)
Im getting more used to this place. I like the 'float to top' I do miss what Haz referred to as the 'Cyber Stew' of the old place though

Yeah I dont understand where time is going and theres always stuff to do:0/ My thesis is suffering considerably and I need to get that in. Im so behind, should be out on the work force the past two years:0/
Caspers 13 going on 40, Megans 10 going on 17 and Ellas 9 regressing back to 4 |

Well ask me in two weeks time. Im planning to do a speed thesis and be finished in about 6 weeks. Everyone says Im mad but Im optimistic and easy to be when not really started ARGH. But it needs to get in. The social here wont help me financially unless I officially drop out of Uni and cmon why would I do that:0/ So Ive no income and havent had in almost a year. SO owe shit loads and hasnt been much fun. But gotta be positive and get out of this rut.

That's ridiculous about not helping you. Sounds a bit like this government. If you're lazy, have 10 kids, and lie about your health then they'll give you more money than the average person earns. Stupid.
I don't think you're mad. I usually rely on a burst of adrenaline at the end of writing a big piece - it always carries me through to the end.

Yeah well there really into their cutbacks here. I even offered to pay it back or work or do a course whatever. But they only agreed if they got an official letter from the Uni. Totally ridiculous I think. But cest ma vie. Just felt it was pointless going out working full time, coming home to three kids. Id never finish the thesis then, being a single parent with f**k all help from their dad. Plus Im limited here as to what work with my accent and lack of experience in other areas. So the loan was an investment. Just didnt think everything else would get in the way heh. But enough is enough, gotta finish |
