Animal Farm? It's by George Orwell as well..I'm reading 1984 right now actually! I haven't read Animal Farm, but I've heard great things about it, and it's by the same author.
1984 is pretty good actually. I recently bought the film on DVD and I have to say that it wasn't anywhere near as good as the book. Animal Farm may not be a bad idea though.
