I think you're talking about human papillomavirus...and apparently if you have genital herpes, your have a higher chance of getting cervical cancer
Some things I've heard:
If you lick those metal covers of yogurt you get tongue cancer.
If you put plastic water bottles in the freezer, or plastic in the microwave you have a higher chance of cancer as well

However apparently scientists have also managed to genetically engineer a strain of the herpes virus to kill cancer cells in patients.

Interesting stuff. Funny how something that's 'bad' can be turned into something good, kind of like birth control pills. Some say they increase your chances of breast cancer, while they also prevent ovarian cancer or even HRT. But there's too much controversy regarding these I guess... |
