Eh???

Lars Ullrich is from Denmark... I'm from Denmark... Seen how we're supposed to be a very homogenous population, it doesn't bode well that you think he's an asshole.

Just don't want to be judged on the fact that he seems to be a bit of a hero in this country! lol

It's nothing to do with him coming from Denmark (I didn't even know he was from Denmark). It's because he says things people (over here at least) don't understand and he also tries to take control of things sometimes. Just listen to him and you'll understand. Anyway, what would I know? I'm just a teen.

Och it's just cos it's such a small country, we try to be proud of anyone remotely famous. Schmeichel and Hans Christian Andersen being some of them.

I've never really listened to Lars Ulrich... I just hear his funny accent when he speaks Danish these days. It's a really heavy Copenhagen dialect coloured by American English. Very strange indeed. He's got an accent when speaking English too though. Must be terrible not to be able to speak any languages without a foreign accent lol

(note: if I babble a lot about language, it's a) cos I'm tired and b) cos I'm a langauge nerd. Please forgive me.)

Ah well. When I was younger than I am just now, I used to think that Scotland didn't have alot of famous people. Turns out that they've got alot more famous people than I thought ... Travis for starters.

Very true indeed. Plus Scotland has a lot of good-will because of the whole tartan/bagpipe thing :o)

Just plaster the place in posters! And wee gig flyers look alright. And oh, if you put tickets from gigs on top of band posters, that looks pretty cool too :)
