I'm in a similar position. After having the situation previously with a fecking idiot of an ex best friend, i like this guy that's in a social circle of mine. He's a lot older and he makes me laugh so much. I can never tell him because of previous experience but i'll never know. Unless you are me who is rather drunk right now trying to forget lol, you should just ask him otherwise you'll be stuck just wondering forever. If he's a true friend and he doesn't see things the same way then he should be able to get passed it so things should be fine either way/ I really wish things would work out for me but they never seem to, i am one that will be left to ponder over guys and be on my own!

I would! What have you got to lose? Maybe your friend can do a little fishing for you, or help things along. You never know!

The guy i like is a friend of a friend too. I say go for it. He lives in a different state right? So there is no harm because you aren't going to run into him day in day out. Or if you're too worried ask your friend to have a word. Friends should be already clued up on these things but some aren't, like mine ha!

I honestly think you have nothing to lose. If he doesn't feel the same way at least you can move on then and you won't be sat wondering about it!

well, definitely try to build a rapport with him. If anything, you can have a friendship out of it. The way I see it, once you get to know him better, he might continue to make your heart jump out of your chest therefore getting you to the point where you possibly feel comfortable making a move, or you will determine that he is nice, but you're not interested anymore.

Who know's maybe he was excited to see you again, but was too shy to do anything about it? There goes the hopeless romantic in me. :) See, I think the being a few states away would give me a little courage.

Stop dogging on yourself goose! If you want to lose weight that's great (and I'm happy to share with you what I did) but you need to love yourself no matter what you look like. If you don't you can be the thinnest you've ever been and still not feel good enough for a guy. Confidence is very attractive.

Sorry you missed your chance with this guy but I am glad you are going to talk to your friend about it.

Exactly! Btw, I hate when great, pretty girls say things like " if I were a smokin' hottie there'd be no problem!" just because they are not blonde and anorexic! I really think it's all about confidence- two of my best fiends are both short and plus sized and they have new guy each week :) But they know that they're the best thing that could happen to guy- and they are so right!
