Awww Tim Gunn! I was watching Bravo for some reason this afternoon and they "Revealed" one of the designers for next Project Runway. She seemed kinda bitchy, but then they all seem that way in the previews while proclaiming How Great they are, How they're not in it to make Friends, and how they are going to win!

I know it's all in the editing but I love how the cockiest, "I'm sure I'm going to win" are the first one eliminated. They're probably all saying that but that they air the losers saying it makes it that much more pathetic.

LOVE Project Runway by the way. Can't wait for it to start.

So that kind of stunts my "growth" in many ways because my parents are very strict and overprotective. But either way, I'll live and make it work :)

What school are you going to? Well your parents will have to be a bit more flex with your time since your schedule won't be as set as it was in high school. Maybe purposely schedule your classes at weird times and have "study groups" just to keep you on campus more (or give the illusion that you're on campus).

(Sorry, you are talking to a reformed rebel. The devious ideas come to me far too easily.)

As for friends, you will definitely make them. One thing I remember is that the last maybe 2 weeks of the semester everyone suddenly got comfortable and friendly and we all wondered why it took so long for everyone to open up.

But you'll make friends, especially as you move forward in your major and see the same people in various classes.

That is so very true. I remember the last two weeks before winter break being the best bonding wise with the roomies and people in my dorm. It is a bummer that this also happens to be the time when those pesky inconveniences called finals show up. And then you have to leave your new best friends for three weeks for break.

I'm going to UC Irvine. Haha, no no, I totally get you. I'm definitely gonna do what must be done to stay on campus & "stay on campus" more.

And that friends thing DOES always happen. Frustrating, but better than nothing :)

thanks for your kind words!
