I kinda wish Engurland had qualified now. If you take directly swap Croatia with England you'd have had Austria, Poland, England & Germany. That would have been brilliant.

if we're talking about FOOTBALL here: I think it's a pity that England hasn't qualified, I'd have loved to see another penalty shoot-out :D
the group Germany's in now is BORING, much too easy (and if we lose,... noooo I don't want to think about it...) ;D

Yes, an Austro-Germanic alliance fighting it out against Poland in the group stages is definitely boring not hilarious in any way.

Germany?! oh please, not again... I don't think I could handle it!

at least this time they're not coming with tanks !

and this time their captain looks much better, lol
btw, I meant again like in the World Cup 2006 when we were in the same group as well and we lost =P

not the comeback I would of used

I am so NOT going to comment on this. (not healthy).
The only thing I'd like to say is: WELCOME to the 21st century!

Hmmm, have I done something wrong? I have the impression I'm missing something here...

I'm not sure if I would use the word "hilarious" but I can see your point.

aaah, it's nothing.
I just think combining football-talk with WWII-talk is not really "healthy", you know?
it's like putting blowflies on a innocent little hamster.

I know what you mean. I really don't think of the German team as of the Nazis (for Christ's sake)- I'm just afraid you will beat us again! (again- like 2 years ago in Germany).

You know what I've heard yesterday?
"It's been decided to let only one team from UK to participate in the Euro'08 finals, so only Polish team's going"
lol

aaah, alright, sorry then. It's just that it wouldn't have been the first time I heard stuff like that, and it always makes me sad. (and the austria-germany-alliance talk above was just sick *sighs*)

I had completely forgotten about the matches at the world cup 2006 ;)

Now, I'm Swiss and so I'll be very close to the whole thing because I work in Zurich. But I'm not looking forward to it because my favourites all have to stay at home! I liked to have Scotland and many, many Scottish fans in the country but they had such a hard group to do and now they won't come! So it isn't funny for me anymore, I don't think the Swiss team's strong enough to beat all in their group. And I'm not a fan of them anyway.
