Well your life must be pretty boring as well if you resort to making a new account and creating this thread to make fun of bunch of 'dull' individuals on a forum. Besides, if you didn't read the forum you wouldn't know what they posted. So chillax, you're not that exciting either.

I don't think that people here are mean to newbies in general...I was a newbie myself as the rest of us...but there are certain threads that newbies post that are...hmmm...interesting!lol
I was a n00b too..The thing is, I think if you make a thread when you're a newb to introduce yourself and etc. your chances of being bashed are greater because you're drawing attention towards you. |

I was just pondering a sticky 'newbies/introduce yourself' thread, so all newbies could be new together ... no? I mean, I wouldn't want them to stay there (like prison!) but if they made the first steps on a designated thread then perhaps people would be a little kinder in welcoming them ...?

| I like the idea of a welcoming thread. Perhaps some guidelines about posting etiquette (like don't post the same thread on T-chat and G-chat) |

Typing to Reach You Posted Thu 30 Aug, 2007 8:48 PM |
I don't really get this "Me" post. Is it just a creation of the n00b stereotype, and poking fun at it? But not using caps or text speak is a positive in my book. And I thought that newbies traditionally spoke rubbish grammar. :p
Or it’s a dig at the boring, unoffending type? It would seem that he/she soon realised you can’t create a decent argument against those traits though, so decided the make the character self-obsessed and a Travis stalker too. Lol.
Meh, sorry “Me” I don’t like it. Try again. xD |
