It's not a "ballpark figure" it's a fucking estimate, ifyou mean estimate then fucking say estimate or even "best guess" Fucking Ball-shaggin'-park Figure makes you sound like an Arsehole.

As for the Indian English "She herself did it"... Wouldn't there be a slight difference in meaning? I mean, the surface structure of the sentence is the same as "I myself" but the deep structure may be different. "I myself" would then be a way to draw attention to the speaker whereas "She herself" would imply emphasis and only insist on the fact that it was her who did it and not anyone else.
Interesting, I hadn't thought of it that way...

It's only in the vocabulary cause these fuckers use it all the time, trying to sound hip and trendy, It's Gordon Gekko gone mad, If it suddenly became trendy to say "Hey, give us your best Guestmiate" then it too would be in the vocabulary.
I fucking hate management speak, just say what you mean instead of being an arsehole about it, you could probably sit n a board meeting these days wafflig shite aboutanythng and these fucks would all sit nodding their heads as if they knew what you were talking about, not only that but the fuckers would go out and repeat it!!

Touch base.
My god, I hate this phrase. What does it even mean?! "I just wanted to touch base with you on......."
Srsly. It should be banned. |

I can honestly say I've never heard that though I knew what you meant. Guess I'm hanging out with the wrong Austin people.
How are you Ric? Do anything to piss off Bush today? Did you eat the whole bag of chips and not save any for him? |

Bush has fucked over the vets in too many ways to count .
You never gone to a Flatstock ? Concurrent with SXSW shows , Jared Conner started it in my view , who did this one BTW

and Bobby Dixon added the capitalized Z. I started using it to make fun of them and it slipped into the vocabulary |

Dubz, we used to play buzzword bingo during compulsory business electives at uni. I hate everything corporate like that. Its embarassing that people make a living from it.
To the point anyway, my biggest gripe are the fucking mongs who pronounce the word crisps "Crips". No. You total spoon, there's an 's' in there. You're not part of an LA gang, you're a thick shit eating criSps. |

"Very much so ..."
That's another one for me. I heard it about 20 times while I was out today and it just sounds silly.

I can guarantee you'd hear it within one hour of entering the UK.
Cheers as in "thanks"?
