At the radio station I gave Neil a freezer sized bag full of banana bread and some Jaffa Cakes. He looked very excited and I honestly was thinking he might not share it with the band. : )
So I mentioned it to Dougie to make sure Neil was sharing and he told me how much he liked it. Baked goods = good idea. Beer = really good idea.
Sandy gave Fran a basket full of Texas beers and some other stuff. Fran seemed really really touched.

Well I'm sure somebody could help you procure some if you really wanted to. I am sure your cupcakes are fantastic but think about portability. How are you going to get the cupcakes to them without them getting all smashed up and frosting everywhere?
And Monkey, I know you speak the truth about food and men. Y'all are so easy. It's almost sad how easy you are to be honest. : ) We want to make it more challenging because we can't believe how easy it is. |

My dad just left me a voicemail. He's in Portland right now on business. I honestly have to say I have this fantasy that I'm going to talk up the Travis show enough that he'll fly me up there to go with him. Now if I could just somehow convince him we should go to SEATTLE.
Just so you know, I am quite confident this will stay in the fantasy category. But I had to confess my patheticness to someone. |

Helloooo, I'm back.
Lauren, I posted my ultimate Travis gig...check T-Chat! That was way too hard...
I wanted to get them a gift too...but since my brownies are made from a box...I'd need to find something else.
Has anyone seen those little puzzle boxes? They're usually in the shape of a heart or star or something...but I found some in a little shop in Ann Arbor in the shape of guitars and one in the shape of a banjo and I was like "OMG! I have to get this for Andy!!!" lol! They were sooooo cute...I thought they could put guitar pics in them or something. Then I flipped the banjo box over and it was like $150. :(

I totally know what you are talking about. I saw some this weekend at a crafts faire thing and I was going to get the guitar one for my friend thinking the exact same thing "she can put her picks in it." Way to expensive though! |

| Yeah I think giving them something edible is good so they don't end up with a bunch of stuff and get overloaded. And I'm sure it's nice to get homemade stuff when you're on the road. |

Seattle. If you're going too I'm going to be wicked pissed to miss meeting our lone night time friend from across the pond.
(and hi to any lurking European friends!) |
