My boyfriend doesn't drink so I don't really drink that much...but if I do it's gotta be something girly and fruity, lol. American beer is gross. It's so watered down! Try Polish beer...it's SO STRONG! And they serve it with this fruit syrup stuff on the bottom. Yeeeaah, I got wasted quite a few times there.
Yeah, American beer blows. Go for imports. Guiness is pretty good. So is Heini, but I won't touch American beer, unless I'm already intoxicated and don't care.... haha |

Well thanks. My family up north says I have a southern accent but no one here thinks that. They all say I sound like I'm from the north. So obviously I have a mix. It even came up in linguistics class- I said a certain vowel sound that no one else in the class did.
It was cot-caught. Here caught would sound just like cot whereas I would pronounce caught "cawght."
And don't feel bad about not wanting to lose your northern accent.
And Nikki, you totally totally sound like a Michigander. I could have known nothing about you and known after you saying one sentence. : ) |

I can definitely say that Florida (minus the panhandle) is very different from the south, especially the deep south that it borders.

Ok, I just took Ashley's quiz and I don't think it's very accurate! Look what I got:
