i do other exercise .... swimming, walking...some other cardio....

i don't see pole dancing as exercise....even though it takes incredible strength to do some of the stuff...but i can see why women do it...a lot of them feel sexy afterward...it's not everyone's bag...certainly not something i'd pursue with a passion but i've heard stories from women who've gained confidence from it...to each their own...

have you tried triathlon ?

i like drinking G&T as a sport - and sleeping

You're up at 5.30 am ? Incredible !

I'm up at 5 the days I do it. I actually have more energy on those days so that helps me get up. I try and go MWF.

I've been wanting to do a triathlon. There is one here in June that is not as long as a traditional one. I meant to do it this year but turns out that was the weekend we were going on our vacation.

I guess if pole dancing makes you feel more confident, yeah for you. I just think the whole stripper industry objectifies women and you shouldn't do even part of that for fun. You can say all you want that the strippers are adults and it's their choice. Sure but that doesn't make it something I will ever agree with.

In college two of my roommates were waitresses at a strip club so I've heard plenty of stories. It's all pretty gross. But they put themselves through college and had over $10,000 in savings when they graduated.

i know!! i went to a preview class at the place my friend currently goes to and the founder got the idea because she was going to play a stripper in a movie and so she was doing research blah blah blah and then she takes that and goes on about how men have objectified women and ancient fertility dances and all this feminism stuff...i just sighed and waited for it to be over...my friend isn't in to all that but a lot of the women there are about "the movement"....really bothered me to be honest.....trust me i'm not on the bandwagon...just thought it was an interesting to try...moving on...haha

LOL. Goosey, I didn't think you were really into it. It's just something that definitely gets me on soapbox.

But yeah for exercise! I've hadn't mentioned this before but a few years ago I lost 70 pounds (31.75 kg). Partly why I get my sorry ass out of bed...not interested in that ass being too jiggly! : )
