For me it was "I Love You Anyways" this past summer. I totally overlooked how amazing that song was until I heard it live.
Are you serious!? Why the hell'd you overlook it in the first place!?!?!?! lol.
Amazin tune, love it love it love it!!
I don't know!!! Ok, maybe not totally overlooked...but didn't appreciate it as much as I do now. :)
I've always loved it. When i saw them play it in 2003 i nearly exploded with excitement. It was awesome
I know you're a big "Good Feeling" fan. They did "The Line Is Fine" in Detroit as well. Ever hear that one live? It's awesome.
I think I'd burst with excitment if I heard the live rockier version of "The Fear."
I've heard all three songs in question in the one gig ;) as well as seeing Dougie fall over (during Line Is Fine, strangely enough!). Ah, i did love the 12 Memories tour!
Just realised How Many Hearts, Somewhere Else and Happy To Hang Around were all in there too... |

| Tounge-tied by Aqualung. It was a small gig at St Andrew's Square in Glasgow many moons ago (must have been November 2002). The whole gig was brilliant. |

I'm really coming round to like these now because the huge anthems get a bit boring, but those two are a bit of light relief. |

I think he broke a string and went off to get another bass, ran back on and slipped on his cable or something. It was hilarious. The band kept playing, but Fran couldn't sing from laughing. A brief account of the story would be on the tour archive for the Glasgow Academy show on 14th October 2003, but apparently that doesn't want to work today.. |
