I think the problem is you're watching an awards show, and probably most of the people there don't give a shit. I know I wouldn't be able to sing along to any songs featured. Except for, y'know the songs that play as they go to commercial. Those are the good ones ;)
Though I have been to lackluster shows before. In Cincinnati, they tend to be a bit unenthusiastic. I seem to remember Julian Casablancas kind of bitching at the crowd when I went to see the strokes because they weren't energetic enough for him or whatever. But then they played a Salty Salute which was awesome. Hehe.
Sorry, Did I get on a tangent? I think the moral of the story is it depends who and where you're watching. :D |

Haha, I just listened to the Mark Ronson/Lilly Allen Cover of Oh, My God by the Kaiser Chiefs.
And yeah, it's like they try to add some Credibility but they still have to pander to the lowest common denominator to get ratings/viewers etc... whatever.
Yeah, I just heard the Mark Ronson/Amy Winehouse cover of 'Valerie" by The Zutons. Quite good. [/quote]
Yeah, that's a good one too. I didn't know it was a Mark Ronson thing also. |

Well, you wouldn't want to fall asleep during, but then the Movie is called "Shoot 'em Up" so it probably won't be boring. Hmmmm. I'm no help. :P |

| Yeah, since it's @ an awards show, I'm sure it's because those people are totally plastic, and probably got paid to be there. |

Death by Cuteness. I can't handle puppies and kittens sleeping with stuffed animals. I just dissolve into girlie squeals.
I'm going to watch something for an hour and then hit the hay. G'night. |

I've never actually watched her except for some promo commercial blurbs on the comedy channel and I couldn't even stand those. I was across the room when one came on and I was like ahhhhhhh must mute commercial. So I ran across the room, cutting the corner of the sofa too close and ended up tripping and falling over some things. And I didn't even get to mute the commercial :( |

| What's even worse is even other performers are talking about how crappy she was. Now it's just sad. |
