What's everyone up to? Sadly, I'm watching the VMAs. Britney got on stage and she really needs to put on more clothes. The days of 'Baby One More Time...' are over, and she can't get away with the same crap she use to. MTV blows...

So, what's the haps

I'm just trying to decide whether to indulge in a bowl of ice cream or be good and skip it. I'm leaning toward indulging. I'm good most of the time...

We don't have cable at the moment. I was wondering how the trainwreck that is brit brit would do. Figured it's probably on YouTube already.

We had a leak in the house (fixed now) but it soaked the carpet in the toy room/office. We pulled it up and have had a fan on it all weekend. It still stinks in here. We're thinking we might have to replace it. Totally blows.

If it's chocolate, go for it. :)

It was so TERRIBLE. She was doing something I think is suppose to resemble dancing. But it looked like she couldn't be bothered. And she lip-synched the whole thing, which is no surprise, but she just looked uninterested. Stick a fork in her, she's done.

Though this proves I'm a terrible person, this makes me want to watch it more. I've wanted her to disappear since approximately 2 seconds into the first time I heard "Hit Me Baby One More Time". I have to hope that if her comeback fails perhaps even the insane coverage on her will lessen slightly.

Thought I would pop in with my 2 cents, as I had the misfortune of seeing Brit, too. The funniest thing was seeing the faces of the people in the audience. You could see the pain on their faces. I actually feel bad for her...

That was the best part! All those celebrities had this look on their face like, "What the... how'd she find the time between fighting a custody battle and not wearing any panties to come do this?" It was so sad.

And now Linkin Park is doing something on stage. I can't really call it performing. American crowds are so weird. They don't sing along, they don't jump and go crazy, it's like contained craziness, or they can't be bothered. Whenever I watch gigs in the UK like the More Than Us DVD, or Live 8, the you can hear the crowd sing along so loudly it almost overpowers the band.

This crowd is in desperate need of a great sing along song, and the pogo. Someone get Travis on the phone. :)

*EDIT* and now Rihanna's performing with Fall Out Boy @ one of these lame cut away parties that they are having away from the venue. At least she's not singing Umbrella... ella... ella.

I can't stop watching this trainwreck...

Thanks so much! That totally made my night. Els you weren't exaggerating. That was so horrible. She looked so bored and while I have no use for her, I can acknowledge that she had good dancing skills. Tonight, she just looked awkward. And she is by no means fat but if she is going to basically be naked, she needs to get a little more toned.

The crowd "reaction" was the best.
