Every time I listen to Kanye, I'm like man I like his music a lot. And then he opens his mouth and I loose all interest. What is his deal?! They are VMAs they don't make you a better person or anything... w/e

Yes he is talented but the man needs to eat some humble pie. Make that about a dozen of them. "I'll never come back to MTV." Sour grapes to the extreme.

*butts in* Hey guys! Just wanted to add my two cents about the horrific VMAs last night...

WHAT A WASTE OF MY LIFE THAT WAS! The entire thing sucked. I'm 22 but am I just getting old or did every single performance on that show completely blow? Not only that but the whole production of the show was strange, no one knew their lines and the idea of having these various "party rooms" sucked! Grrrrrr. I hate MTV! I guess according to that channel there are a total of 4 musical artists/bands that matter in the world. Those include Fall Out Boy, Kanye West, Justin Timberlake and Rihanna. *barf*

Well, there was Britney's opener...pffff. If you can call that a performance! I honestly think the only one who didn't lip sync *might* have been Alicia Keys...then again she wasn't even that original seeing as how she sang George Michael's "Freedom." Yes, the parties were LAME and my brother was so pissed off because he heard Mastodon was going to be on and they showed them for a total of like 30 seconds at one of those parties and on the bottom of the screen it said "Foo Fighters" by mistake, LOL! I think everything that could have went wrong...did.

It was Mastodon, but they were @ the Foo Fighters 'Party Suite' that's why it said foo fighters, I think they were still in the background.

I gave up on MTV a long time ago. They need to take music out of their name. If they play a video it's for 30 seconds. I expect crap from them and am very rarely disappointed.

Since I am old I do remember when the station launched and how incredibly exciting it was. It's sad that it's become just a bunch of crap reality shows.

Oh just fess up. I know you sat down with your girlfriends and did each other's toenails while you watched it. You then discussed which guy was the cutest, which guy you would want to meet your mom, and which guy you secretly liked but could only make out with when you're drunk because he isn't good enough for you.

Did I totally nail it?

Monkey, what is your real name? I hope it's not Superman or Gandalf since I was dissing on those names. I'm going to guess David.
