I didn't say because I didn't want to get told that my music taste was rubbish but who cares, right?
1st opening band = Romance Fantasy (totally boring)
2nd opending band = Peter Bjorn and John (never heard them before but they were awesome. Very interesting to watch and I think their music was good and probably it would grow on me if I heard it more)
Main act = Paolo Nutini. He was very good. Some of his songs I thought he had too much vibrato (almost "Lollipop Guild" sounding) but it was a good time.
There. I've admitted my deep dark secret. There is another Scotish act I like.
Oh! But he did one thing that made me go WTF?!??! His entrance music was the theme from Rocky. I told my husband that if he came in wearing a robe I would leave. Do Scots have to enter to the Rocky theme? Is it a law? |
