i wonder what Fran has got up his sleeve with this one? i'm thinking it's probably a video backdrop for playing "Selfish Jean", or maybe an alternate YouTube presentation. or something.

do you think it might be an alternate video for the UK market since (no offence) Demetri Martin isn't known (i think) outside the USA?

Ah but, if you look at the Wee Store, it says "Selfish Jean - Alternative video"...
So, from that, there must be another Selfish Jean video hanging around or in the pipeline somewhere.  |

another thought...
given that if this is indeed an alternate video for "Selfish Jean" the written items would need to be read by people (actors maybe??) throughout the video or something...i dunno, how would you represent the written word in the video in enough time for it to be commnicated n'shit.

| maybe this could be for an alternate video for "Selfish Jean", but I think is a little late for merchandising because Selfish Jean is a single right now... I was thinking.. if it is for a DVD or something like that?? a special section with fans??? Does Fran gave us an deadline for send it??? |

It seems, to me, that there will be 2 videos for "Selfish Jean" available which is in keeping with the whole marketing vision for Travis' latest album (e.g. bonus hidden tracks, different markets getting different things).
It was revealed that the official video for "Selish Jean" will be/is the version with Demetri Martin.
It's my contention that there will be ANOTHER video (and the Wee Store has an "Alternate Video" listed) using the stuff that Fran requested us all to send in. That video might be released worldwide or just on the domestic versions of the "Selfish Jean" cd single -- which by extension means the video will end up on YouTube.
that's where i'm coming from. are we all clear now?
