5 (five) Government Ministers resign with a sixth expected to resign this afternoon.
The Taoiseach battled a vote of no confidence two days ago, this is the fall out...
The Minister for Health has resigned
The Minister for Justice has resigned
The Minister for Transport has resigned
The Minister for Defence has resigned
The Minister for Foreign Affairs has resigned
The Minister for Education is expected to resign later today.
Who the fuck will be left running the country ??

Is it something to do with that rumour about creating a massive amount of extra euros out of nothing? |

I just read an article that said 1,000 people a week are leaving Ireland. Mostly young people who can't find work. That seems like a lot for a small country. |

Population of 4,500,000 in Ireland. Young people are indeed leaving to find employment. But to be honest it's nothing new, even at the height of the Celtic Tiger people were leaving to work abroad. J1 visa's to the States or Australia. There was also a lot of people taking a couple of years out to travel

Cowen (Taoiseach) just given speech to the Dail, Minister's roles will be given to other cabinet ministers, effectively doubling up on jobs and Dail will be disolved before General Election to be held on March 11th.

Yesterday Brian Cowen resigned as leader of Fine Fail but vowed to carry on as Taoiseach.
The Green Party have announced today that they are pulling out of the coalition government.
There should be a vote of no confidence in the government on Tuesday (25th).
All of this may result in a general election as early as 20th February.
This government is now the laughing stock on the world stage !!
