As I know that here are a lot of computer wizards i was wondering if somebody could please help me with ripping one audio file from the Internet? I was sent this BBC7 link to Eddie Izzard's show and as i don't have *any* of his shows i thought this might be a good chance of getting one. This would be a temporary solution of course till i win a jackpot and by all his shows :)
I'm not sure if it can be done at all though.
Anyway, i got it from here http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc7/listenagain/sunday/ and in the clip source there's this information:

Stream: RAM File
File Name: 2300.ram
rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/bbc7/2300_sun.ra

Could you teach me how to do it please? Pretty please? :)

You mean you've got a ra file and want to convert it into somewhat mp3 or wma?

I recommend you to install a music converter here: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/
RA to mp3 converting needs extra codec. Visit "Codec Central" on the site and follow the process about Encoder & Decoder of RA file: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/codec-central-realaudio.htm

"Net Transport" is a good way to download media files: http://www.xi-soft.com/default.htm
When you read HTML sources from web pages, media files(audios, videos) are usually embeded with either "<embed src=URL>" or "<object ,,,,>".
Find these lines after opening sources on Notepad. Copy the URL and download files by using Net Transport. Then convert files if necessary.

I think it's this option that I need, thank you. I will check it out later, hope it works. If not, then i'll have to wait for that lottery win to get me some Izzard's shows...
