After having listed all the crap things about summer, I thought we could be positive (as there's no escaping the 3 months of heat, mosquitos and "fat people letting it all hang out").
So, what are you're favourite things?
- Sitting in my Grandma's garden, drinking fizzy (Limey and I always "field" when it's being opened. i.e. We try to catch the cork when it flies up in the air)
- Cricket in the garden (despite having to fetch the ball).
- Family barbeques (i.e. boose)
- Walking along Brighton seafront (described by Victoria Wood as "somehow seedy and yet glamourous at the same time") |

oh there's tons!
- no having to put on coats, boots,gloves and all that stuff
- the long daylight hours
- eating and drinking outdoors
- swimming in lakes and the sea
- driving with all the windows open
och everthing about summer. I love it !

wearing no socks/tights/heavy coats....
relying on shorts and skirts most days
lying down in the park and reading
enjoying Paris at its most pleasant in august when parisians are away
eating melon and water-melon, sorbets
faire les terrasses (sitting outside cafés)
