saturday night of the festival, we left seeing the police to get in line at the comedy tent. we wanted to get a good seat to see demetri martin. we sat in line for about 40 minutes when my friends decided they were going to head to the port-a-pot before we went in. we had another hour before they opened the doors, so it shouldnt have been a problem.
wrong.
they decided to open the doors early and the line was heading in. i lost sight of my friends, so my other friend and i stood there deciding what to do. the line was so fucking long, so i knew we wouldnt get a great seat if we didnt go in. we decided to look around for them. they ended up calling us (on thier dead phone, i dont know how it worked!) and told us they were looking for us inside. haha. they cut in the line to get in.
so we got decent seats and waited for the show.
demetri martin is pretty damn funny, i have to say. there was another act after him with some guys called the flight of the concord. boring. haha. we left after demetri martin to go see some of the flaming lips.
out of the two comedy shows we saw though, david cross was the best. that shit was out of control! :)
NO! DAMN. i was looking forward to that. he did some stand up stuff and then sang some. he didnt have long on stage before the other guys came up. they sucked. haha.
i think he wanted to see the flaming lips too! so he was in a hurry a little. i dont blame him . hahaha!
