Well good on you. Here it's raining and storming and just grey and dull.
20-25 degrees Celsius and a blue sky, and I'll be happy :o) |

It's finally cooled down here. I hope it'll stay this way for the next few weeks.
I'm down to my last complete month of work experience! After that, I've got a nice month and a half of staying in bed until 12:00 A.M., watching British telly, going out with friends and doing my utmost to not do anything more constructive than making myself a sandwich. |

| Ah, I remember those student days where you didn't have to do anything all summer. I also remember being well bored at the end of it lol. |

Ha ha...yeah...
I'm planning on going karting with some mates. Haven't done that since years before I got my drivers licence. |

I can safely say that I've never been karting, not even before getting a driving licence since I haven't got one. I know it's pathetic, I'm 27 and haven't got a licence :oS
However, in a week I'm going to a paintball game with some colleagues. I've never done this before and I'm a bit scared, but it's all in the name of team building. |

| Paintballing's great. I've done lazer once and paintballing once, and the atmosphere is completely different. Paintablling is all about stealth, whereas lazer is just running around firing into people's backs. |

See, that's the problem. I'm as stealthy as an elephant a china shop. Plus I heard that it hurts to be hit by a bullet.
I'm just hoping that adrenaline will get me through it lol |

You get bruises despite the thick overalls. It's worth it though. What really kills (it happened to me) is when you get shot in the hand. We didn't have gloves and the pellet smashed my skin through to draw blood.
When CHuck Norris goes to give blood, he declines the syringe and instead request a handgun and a bucket. |

That's what I fear. I've got some skiing outfit somewhere, maybe I should wear that UNDER the suit provided. And gloves, obviously. I'm just hoping that none of my colleagues bear a grudge against me!
I'm really hoping that Chuck Norris isn't gonna show up and give me the finger. That would mean I only have one second to live lol |

not here...12°C, stormy and continious rain since 3 days AND today is "Siebenschläfer" (whatever the English word for it is), that means todays weather appoints the weather for the next seven weeks *blah* :-(
shittiest summer ever! |

Let's hope that the Siebenschläfer is just superstition cos I don't want the weather to be like this all summer :oS |

I eckon we should start making contingency plans for climate change. We should still do everything possible to slow it down, but if, according to forecasts, we're all fucked in 20-50 years time, I'd like to be prepared.
I'm thinking massive snow-mobiles (for when the water circuit thingy shuts down and Brtain is plunged into artic weather) and a couple of ice-cube trays for the rest of the world... |

So the forecast predicts that Britain will become arctic? I thought it was the other way round, that the weather will be warmer.
This winter wasn't really a winter, it was like a very long autumn. It made me very aware of switching off things and trying to save energy. I guess we should all try to save a bit to slow down the process... |
