| I went to do the food shopping at the hypermarket the other day and decided to browse the DVD section. Found one I liked, a bargain at 9.99E, yippee, paid etc and went home. This morning, I found the till receipt - they charged me 22 EUROS for it! Can't take it back now because I've already watched it :( |

Aaaah.
I'd take it back anyway and kick up a fuss in front of people.
They will soon issue a refund. |

| No, take it back as long as you can still have the receipt. Then they can see date of purchase. The 'offer' probably wasnt set on their systems, which is why you were charged the old price. |

| Thank you CyberEsther - I shall give it a shot. Don't think I'll go today though cos it's the first day of the summer sales and it'll be heaving with bargain hunters. |

Yeah, 'cos as a retailer, that makes me FAR likelier to help you.
No, really.
Trying to humiliate us and make us feel like shit because of a simple mistake really motivates us to be more helpful. |
