He was clearly deeply deeply upset but trying to be smart as well and it didn't wash or sound good .......great pity its on camera as I'm sure it was shock , however Paul does come across as arrogant sometimes and that dont help.

Awk, he clearly is just pissed off at the press. Imagine if one of your best mates died, and you were trying to keep yourself busy to try and keep it out of your mind (if that's your way of dealing with it) and the press are all over you like a pack of wild dogs. It's just not very nice! I think he's grieving but it doesn't come across cos his anger at the press is the greater emotion on this

I agree. I can't imagine having a camera in my face the day I found out someone incredibly special to me was killed.

Wow. I've never seen this before. I agree with the above comments that Paul looks a bit shocked and fed up with the press. Although it may be coming across as arrogance, I'm sure he was deeply hurt at that very moment. I hate it that crazy reporters and paparazzi give all media a bad name. I would never stick my recorder in someone's face after their best friend died. Sometimes some of these so-called "journalists" forget that they're humans first and reporters second. It reminds me of when people were giving CNN's Senior Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta crap about interfering and stepping across his boundaries as a journalist when he performed emergency neurosurgery on a U.S. soldier and saved his/her life in Iraq. How could he not have helped that person?!!?

Anyway, my point here is that not all journalists are A-holes, LOL. Even though it looks like it from that YouTube clip. :)

Fuck him, I have no sympathy, MacCartney is an arrogant wanker who used the press whenever it suited them. So I think he can have no complaints when they stick a camera in his face in a moment when he's not quite ready

You can't have it both ways !!!

i think macca is clearly pissed off with the reporters being in his face on the day he found out one of his best mate's has been murdered. he didn't want to give anything away to the press it's pretty clear he's just tolerating them and giving as little as possible away.

macca might be a wanker and arrogant when he wants to be but he's still human, let's not forget that. when someone you love dies (especially the way lennon was taken) it's very personal and private even if you're one of the most publicly famous people on the planet.

beg to disagree but they did not hate each other. they were like brothers, brothers that didn't get along at all but underneath all the shite there was a very, very strong bond there. there was talk about macca and lennon getting together in new york around the time lennon was murdered. they had major problems in their relationship but when push came to shove they did, in my opinion, love each other.
