absolutely, i read it long and long time ago... and i do not remember much of it, i think i should read it again

There's also a film directed by Vittorio de Sica but i've never seen it. I believe it to be good because de Sica was great and Dominique Sanda plays in it.

A soup recipe is appropriate for the current weather (no Minestrone as i don't like it)
