I've never heard of them! That's why I'm asking because I have no idea except they seem ancient. My reason for asking is because my husband's band has been asked to open for them when they come here in September. Now I don't know if that's good or bad that they were asked....oh my.
And Haz, thanks to your monkeying around with me on my first day I encouraged them to send their press kit to Stubb's (but NOT mention you!) and they've been asked to play there in August so thanks for playing me! |

hurrah! see i knew that would happen, ehem.
AWB had a BIG debut album back in the mid to late 70s, "pick up the pieces" was a big hit for them in the UK and Ireland (don't know about here). s'funny you mentioned them because the other morning on the radio they played an AWB song off that same disc, funky for some white guys. |

Sure you did. : ) I don't remember them but they must have had some success here if they're touring. At least the venue is really great. It's La Zona Rosa, which is where Travis played in '04. They've played there (meaning hubby's band) once before and it was great. Stubb's should be super great. I'll take a pic backstage and pretend Travis is there with me. : )
