All this so-called 'ban' has done has shoved people out onto the streets where everyone has to breathe in the smoke. Great idea(!) At least non-smokers could avoid the smokey places if they wanted to, now you can't walk down a street without copping a lungful.

Plus most pubs have created outside smoking areas, so the local residents have to put up with all the noise associated with it.

... Thursday morning moan ...

it's better to have these idiots outside the pub than inside the pub. think about the health of the poor people that have to work in these establishments (not to mention your own clothing and hair NOT smelling like you rolled around in an ashtray for an hour).

smoking is one nasty-assed habit, and yeah i used to smoke before which is why i'm now Jabba the Hut (i.e. Burger King is now my new John Player Blue) ;)

Yeah, very important point there hazman.

There was some talk of pumping different smells into pubs, like vanilla and strawberry etc ... why can't pubs just smell of beer?!
