oohh helloooo

thanks for the link yesterday, I listened to some chansons. Nana Mouskuri sings in all languages, it seems. The same songs as well, it was 'le garçon au tambour', and all morning I've had this badabadabammm in my head. Even if a lovely chanson by Edith Piaf came on afterwards.

Nana Mouskouri ....well i sure din't thing of her when i meant "chanson française"...hehe !
You sound like these 2 danish friends of mine who came to Paris and said the nicest thing of the trip was EuroDisney.

I'm good, had a salmon sandwich for lunch. What did you have at the café? And how did it go at the job centre? I'm sure your perfect English must be an advantage when looking for a job.

Where are your 2 Danish friends from? I mean which town, I know which country lol

And I also thought more along the lines of Edith Piaf when you said chansons.

here's where i went : Café charbon
http://z.about.com/d/gofrance/1/0/7/A/pariscafe7.jpg
had the "Charbon salad" : salad - salmon - quiche - rice
and a mint tea
they tend to speak french at the job centre you see - but i talked to a "nice" guy and he booked a 2 days meeting for job research that he said is really good.

my danish friends are from Aalborg and Fredericia.

Edith Piaz, Charles Aznavour is what i call chanson française too. Too bad Céline Dion also tortures in french...

Oh dear, no Céline for me please.

Fredericia is very close to where I live :o)

Your lunch sounds really nice and I'm hungry again. Going home in 3 minutes though so I can get something to eat :o)
