me neither
showed up late a the local café and all they had left was "star signs" stuff so i picked a Scorpio one (my mum's sign) and won nothing. Not sure picking my mums sign was a smart idea in the 1s place !

je vais jouer à l'Euro million ce soir - il y a une méga cagnotte

I probably won't but today has already been a very lucky day for me. I received the official cancellation of my unwanted transfer to Créteil!

Yeah, I wasn't sure whether the government would grant it or not so that came as a relief! It's only for a year but I have plenty of time to find a way to escape from suburban hell next year again :)

Yeah, excellent news Lucile! What a relief for you.
Why is it that the French see Friday 13th as a lucky day when the Brits tend to walk around on eggshells hoping nothing bad will happen?????

must comment it is a terrific day for the Loterie Nationale - there're millions of us spending money on stupid games.

Thanks Deebee :) I'm not sure that the French see Friday 13th as a lucky day. I'm pretty sure most people don't (Ask my friends who failed the CAPES - the results were published earlier today. I'm sure they'll live in fear on Friday 13th for the rest of their lives!). The media have made it a day when you can try your luck at the lottery though. The number 13 has always been a lucky number for me for some reason.
