I have no one to go with, and would have to go to Newcastle, which is an arse to drive around, but if I don't go, I shall just be sat around watching telly all night.

What should I do?

I wish these geordies weren't so scary and northern and my accent didn't sound so posh by comparison, or I'd go in a flash. *wishes for friends who live in Sunderland to suddenly exist*

Newcastle was built to put off the Scottish invading England.
Tis true.

I stayed one night, but there was free Jim Beam at the event I was at so I don't remember much of it. I remember walking past the horse shoe bar on the way to the station by chance and then almost throwing up on someone on the train. Getting into the spirit of the city, yes?
