I know most people have horrid bosses and there could be a never ending thread about that but I actually really like mine and today he confirmed why. He asked me if I would be willing to go teach a computer class for an organization that helps low income families with food, medical care, and education.

The cool part is I would be doing it during work time! He is at a certain client's office (he's a lawyer) two days a week so those days are usually pretty slow for me anyway.

I am thrilled to think that I could be doing volunteer work once a week while I am "at work". Just wanted to share...

i too am blessed to have an awesome boss! he and his wife treat me like i'm one of their daughters...it's kinda funny! but, then again, it's a tiny company...

It's nice to hear that other people like their boss! Sometimes I feel like the only one. I wanted to add that it's extra cool that I didn't ask him if I could do this and he said yes but he thought of it on his own. I don't feel like enough of a computer expert but he assured me that the people I would be teaching know nothing (or next to nothing) so the basics will be plenty for them.
