We'll reward the winning band with an awesome recording contract, complete with a big fat advance cheque. You'll also be able to watch the bands that make it through every week on T4 and 4music over 3 months this autumn. On second thoughts, it seems dodgy. You can't read the T&C and it wants you to register to some sort of publishers. Since i haven't read the T&Cs, i have no idea what to do- so i'm worried that things could be stolen.
Not worth the hassle! |

Apologies - we were having some teething problems with the site. You can view the T&Cs here. The rights societies question doesn't apply if you're not a member of one already.
Also - here's a quick update for everyone with some more details. It's just been confirmed that Jo Whiley has been appointed as one of the judges, and the deadline for entering the competition has been extended a week - 12th August is now the last day to enter. The prize has also been confirmed - it's a record deal with a major label with a guaranteed Single and Album release and a video for the single. The record deal will include a cash advance and recording costs for making the album.

Hi all,
Just a very quick message to let you know that voting's now open on the mobileACT site. The top 25 bands based on fan votes will automatically go through to the next round, and the judges will be picking another 25 to go through. Each day you can vote for as many of your favourite mobileAct unsigned bands as you want – but you can only cast one vote per band per day. You need to register as a fan on the site to start voting - you can do that right here:

When voting is finished, we'll announce the final 50 bands on the website, and get in touch with everyone individually. If you've entered, then you might wanna post below and let people know - so they can vote for you :)
