Ok, i know a lot of places have had it a lot worse than me- and rightly so! I quite enjoyed my experience today. Here goes...

I was waiting for the bus from work today, and could see the clouds gathering. Not bothered. It rained. Not bothered. It hailed. Not bothered. A river formed on the road and lorries swerved into the stream just to have the satisfaction of soaking a poor public-transport patron. Not bothered. And when i got on the bus, everyone stared as if to say 'what the hell happened to that guy?'. Well folks, it was raining! You know? The wet stuff? Yeah, that. Meh, still not bothered (damn yuppies!)

Why did i enjoy getting absolutely drenched??? I was in hysterics a lot of the time, even though it was the heaviest rain i've ever seen!

I think it's great that you could laugh about the whole thing. It's best when you can just go with the flow (or the flood) of the situation. You were going to be wet whether you were laughing or a bitter and jaded person.

It was just funny. It really didn't annoy me in the slightest, and you'd think something like that would! Oh well, i am dried off now- and still smiling :)

I love rain as well, it's something about the sound of rain falling to the ground. Was out driving earlier and all of a sudden water fell from the sky, like I'd driven into a waterfall. The traffic stopped at an instant! Had the vipers at full speed, and it didn't help a bit. Oh well, it was fun, had a sudden urge for stopping the car and go outside to stand in the rain.

Awww...I enjoyed that story.
I love HARDCORE heavy rain like that! My mum always gets mad if I "accidently" get caught in it...heheh
Drizzle on the other hand is just damp and a bit of a pain!
HARDCORE RAIN! All the way!
