I finally suceeded in dreaming about boardies! lol
I was going to a Travis gig somewhere on Jamaica St./Union St., not that I know of any venues there. Apparantly my subconsciousness knows a venue there. Anyhow, I could see a lot of people there but I couldn't find the entrance, so I was desperately looking for you, Ursina and Kirstin cos I knew you'd be there. Don't recall finding you though before I was woken up by by hail on my window *sigh* |

So technically not actually a boardie dream then? ;)
Isn't Rockers around there somewhere? Or you could have been heading towards Carling Academy, in your subconcious of course! |

You're right, technically I was just dreaming that boardies were supposed to have been in it!
Erm, isn't the rock in Hope St, or at least on the other side of central station? I'd go for Carling Academy. No wonder I couldn't find the entrance on jamaica st.! lol |

Lol, i have no idea. Oh here! Might have been the Arches! Well, the back entrance. They have gigs in there sometimes?
What about Contador? Eh eh? Didn't i tell you he'd win! ;) God i do love being right- doesn't happen very often either!! :D lol |

Dunno if the Arches have gigs. Hmm, could be...
And yes, I admit it: you were right! It was one hell of a TT yesterday. Although I didn't really have a favourite, I was still hoping for Contador cos I'd feel sorry for him if he didn't win. But what a fight from Leipheimer and Evans. Somehow I think that Evans is going to be no. 2 for a long time cos he hasn't got that last little bit that will make him a winner.
Danish TV sent an interview with Rasmussen made earlier today. He was surprisingly calm. He was certain that he should have won, but he didn't seem really angry. Maybe he knows that it's not wise to upset anyone more than necessary. |

I didn't see the TT yesterday :( Looked at the result though. I think Bradley Wiggins could have won it, had his Cofidis teammate (read as idiot) not been a dirty cheat and had the whole team kicked out!
There's a 2-hour summary programme of the whole tour tomorrow night on UK tv, so i'm going to watch that. It sucks that le Tour is the only pro-cycling that is shown on UK tv. I'd love to watch the Vuelta and the Giro and the Dauphine and the rest. I hate Britain! Lol |

I missed the final today cos I was at my parents house and had to catch a train at about the same time as they crossed the finish line. Och well. Heard that Bennati won.
So far they've showed tv from all those races, if not on the main channels then at least on some other channel. A bit like sending it on BBC 3. But at least they show it. I just hope that they're not going to cut down on that due to the fact that the whole things seems like a pharmacy on wheels these days. |

| I think ITV4 is the only one that shows le Tour. And since we don't have sky any more (but still get Freeview channels) i don't think i'll be able to see much cycling until next July. Boo! |
